TVM installation
The TVM installation service consists of setting up a system on a section of track to simulate ground-based TVM (rail injection and inductive loops), enabling the customer to carry out on-board TVM maintenance.
NORMATIVE SCOPE
IG 94104: SNCF standard designed in parallel with the CIM (Calibration base installation rule) "Installation d'Etalonnage pour Equipement Embarqué TVM 430 (ou Bi-standard - Etudes et travaux)" (Calibration facility for TVM 430 on-board equipment (or Bi-standard - Studies and work)).
S706 (available on the EPSF website, version 2 of the document) refers to calibration facilities

Service objectives
- Enable customers to develop their on-board TVM maintenance business and become self-sufficient in on-board maintenance.
- Be equipped with a TVM system in compliance with the relevant standards
- Standardization of equipment for quality and ease of maintenance
Description of the service
- Inventory of equipment already installed on the road.
- Site visit with design team and suppliers
- Studies based on input data
- Installation work
- Calibration of the installation with special equipment (special transformer)
- Acceptance and functional validation of the installation
Input data
- Possible intervention periods (dates and times) compatible with the provisional schedule (to be confirmed at least 4 weeks in advance)
- Safety-related elements: training for supervisors and a prevention plan for teams dispatched by MASTERIS to work on site.
- The track to be equipped must be available for the entire duration of the operation (no movement on the track, or on the surrounding tracks if necessary).
- Provide a power source, 230V @ 50 Hz, in the work area
- Type and length of equipment to be used on TVM tracks (if equipment differs (sensor length / first axle), repeat functional validation with the equipment).
- Track type: On pit, on wooden sleepers, on bibloc sleepers
- Provide a TVM 430-equipped machine (already calibrated and fault-free) and a driver to carry out functional checks during validation and acceptance tests.
- Communicate on any event or constraint that may affect the provisional schedule
