System Engineer

🚩 Main activities of the position

Your project as a systems engineer:

- To carry out technical software evolutions,

- Write the Technical Specifications of the need,

- Participate in system validation tests, non-regression tests and other end-to-end recipes,

- Write the System Validation Test Documents,

- Set up procedures/scripts to perform system validations,

- Carry out reports related to the progress and tests,

- Manage patches/evolutions with the entities in charge of software development,

- Improve and monitor the reliability of systems (search for technical or managerial solutions),

- To perpetuate and optimize the Integrated Logistic Support axes,

- Feed the monitoring dashboards and update them regularly,

- Manage and anticipate risks and hazards on the project,

- Communicate on the progress of the project and provide information to the various business units using the CCEU products and tools,

- Write preliminary analyses and participate in the costing/estimation phases in case of new needs.

Profile sought:

Graduate of a Master 2 or an engineering degree on computer systems.

You have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the railway environment.

Know-how / Expertise :

- Knowledge of standard network protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, NTP, SNMP)

- Knowledge and mastery of the V-cycle / Traceability matrix

- Knowledge of the different communication standards (SMS, GPRS, 3G, 4G, BT, etc.)

- Knowledge of embedded electronic systems (general knowledge of embedded electronic systems),

- Analysis of software and electronic documentation,

- Knowledge of the standards for on-board networks and on-board and ground/on-board communication on electronic railway equipment (EN 61375),

- Knowledge of all areas of Integrated Logistics Support.
