- These studies must meet the expected performance objectives in terms of reliability, availability and maintainability, and be adapted to the industry tool.

- Design and validation specifications for the system under study
- Technical or operating data for: pre-project support, management and monitoring of the development phase and definition of life extension actions
- Maintenance objectives (expected performance in terms of reliability, availability, maintainability)
- Description of production facilities
