From November 4 to 6, 2025, the Rencontres Nationales du Transport Public (RNTP) brought together more than 8,000 participants in Orléans: elected officials, organizing authorities, operators, manufacturers, and mobility experts. MASTERIS was present at this major event for public transport and sustainable mobility to showcase its solutions and engage with its customers and prospects.
A look back at the highlights of our participation and the solutions we provide to local communities.
A leading trade show for public transportation
Held at the CO’Met exhibition center in Orléans, RNTP 2025 brought together:
- 231 exhibitors from all sectors of public transport andmobility
- More than 8,000 visitors, representing a 3% increase in attendance compared to the previous edition
- 10 plenary sessions as part of the GART–UTPF Congress, focusing on major mobility issues
- Over 100 conferences, workshops, and activities
- Over 600 business meetings organized over two and a half days
- 7 winners of the Mobility Challenges
- 1 minister present : Philippe Tabarot, Transportation
With a structuring theme as a backdrop: "Municipal elections 2026: better connecting territories."
In this context, MASTERIS's presence fully met the expectations of local authorities and operators: to provide concrete solutions for modernizing fleets, optimizing performance, and improving energy efficiency.
MASTERIS, a key player in the renovation of regional trains
One of the key topics at our booth was the renovation of regional trains, a major challenge for regions and operators seeking to extend the life of their rolling stock while improving passenger comfort and experience.

To illustrate this commitment, Remi Peltier, CEO of MASTERIS, took the floor at the stand to reaffirm MASTERIS' position as a key player in regional train renovation projects and to present the solutions we are deploying to deliver more reliable, efficient, and sustainable regional and urban mobility.

Through a large-scale program such as OPTER, which represents a volume of around 1,000 trains across France, MASTERIS is the sole contractual interface between manufacturers and regional authorities for one of the largest rail modernization programs in Europe, which aims in particular to:
- Interior modernization of trains (passenger comfort, accessibility, passenger information)
- Technical and regulatory upgrades
- Improving equipment reliability and availability
- Extending the service life of trains and optimizing total cost of ownership
Our strength lies in combining local knowledge, a detailed understanding of operational challenges, and proven industrial expertise inherited from the historic operator SNCF.
Innovating for more fuel-efficient and higher-performance trains
Energy transition and consumption control were also key topics of discussion at our booth. Among the innovations presented was a heat pump project developed from existing air conditioning systems.
Accompanied by an air conditioning and heating expert, one of our employees was able to present this project to visitors. The goal? To transform traditional air conditioning systems into heat pumps in order to:
- improve energy efficiency,
- reduce energy consumption,
- and to propose concrete energy-saving solutions for operators.
This project is part of MASTERIS's broader offering in the areas of decarbonization and energy performance. We support our clients with a range of complementary solutions, including:
- Modeling and numerical simulations: to analyze system behavior in detail, optimize architectures, and identify ways to reduce carbon footprints even before implementation in the field.
- Alternative fuels: research and support in the integration of more environmentally friendly fuels to reduce emissions while ensuring operational performance.
- Energy management for air conditioning/heating units: optimization of control laws and operating strategies to reduce consumption while maintaining passenger comfort.
- Long-life batteries: energy storage solutions adapted to railway applications, promoting hybrid systems and limiting the use of fossil fuels.
This portfolio of solutions illustrates MASTERIS' approach: starting with the operational needs of operators, drawing on strong engineering expertise, and proposing realistic, progressive decarbonization pathways tailored to each fleet.

Historical expertise at the service of all stakeholders
What sets MASTERIS apart in the market is its combination of dual legitimacy:
- 90 years of railway expertise at the heart of the performance of the historic operator SNCF,
- MASTERIS has been in business for 15 years and already has an impressive track record.
This experience allows us to support both incumbent operators and new entrants, in France and internationally, in a variety of areas:
- maintenance and engineering of rolling stock,
- optimization of performance and reliability,
- renovation and modernization projects,
- tailored support based on operating contexts.
As competition reshapes the railway landscape, we position ourselves as a trusted partner, capable of offering solutions tailored to each region and each operating strategy.
"With the opening up of the market to competition, we have all entered a new world. It is also a revolution for SNCF Voyageurs: we are no longer the decision-maker, we are a player in the market, one of the partners that must bring solutions to the regions." Christophe Fanichet, CEO of SNCF Voyageurs
Meaningful encounters with our customers and prospects

Beyond the solutions presented, RNTP is above all an opportunity for discussion. Over three days, our sales and technical teams welcomed numerous visitors to our stand: organizing authorities, operators, industrial partners, prospects, and customers already working with us.
These exchanges made it possible to:
- identify new opportunities for cooperation,
- to share concrete feedback on ongoing projects,
- to better understand the needs of regions in terms of renovation, maintenance, and energy performance.
Social events, such as the cocktail party shared with our neighbors at the TER, Intercités, and Connect & Tech stands, also helped to strengthen synergies within the railway ecosystem.

And after the RNTP? See you at Mobco 2026!

RNTP and European Mobility Expo (EuMo Expo) are merging to become Mobco, a new unifying event for mobility.
MASTERIS will be present at the first edition of this trade show, which will be held from June 9 to 11, 2026, in Paris, at Porte de Versailles.
This will be an opportunity to present new projects, share feedback from operations carried out with our clients, and continue the discussions begun in Orléans.
Let's build the mobility of tomorrow together
MASTERIS' participation in RNTP 2025 confirms a strong conviction: tomorrow's mobility is being built today, thanks to solid partnerships between organizing authorities/SPLs, operators, manufacturers, and maintenance and engineering experts.
