Since 2021, MASTERIS has been supporting the Orleans metropolitan authority in modernizing and renovating the cabin air-conditioning systems on its 21 Citadis 302 trains. These operations, essential to guaranteeing the rolling stock's reliability and longevity, are part of the maintenance program scheduled for 600,000 km. This contract, initiated in 2021, will come to an end in 2025.

Our industrial expertise at the heart of the project

The work is being carried out by SNCF Voyageurs' Technicentre Industriel de Charentes Périgord, experts in HVAC maintenance.
Major interventions include:

  • Industrial renovation of air conditioning equipment
  •
  • Modification of circuit breakers
  •
  • Addition of an electrical connector on motorized fans to improve interchangeability and simplify servicing.
  •
  • Optimization of maintenance cycles to extend component service life

MASTERIS' strengths in this project

MASTERIS, in charge of this mission, stands out from its competitors with several differentiating assets.

  • A relationship of trust developed with the customer
  • A rigorously respected contractual commitment
  • Optimized, controlled budget management

The main objective is to provide a high-quality, tailor-made service, while keeping the costs of the operation under control.

As the budget is a crucial point within the DSP (Délégation de service public), all additional parts not included in the base service are validated with the customer in order to meet his budgetary requirements.

Always with the aim of optimizing costs, the life of components is extended as far as possible to ensure that air conditioning systems remain in operational condition.

A five-year commitment

After a consultation phase in 2020, operations began in 2021, with completion initially scheduled for 2024. Following the activation of a contractual option, the project will continue until 2025.

A long-term relationship built on trust since 2015

This project is part of a continuing collaboration between MASTERIS and Keolis Orléans Métropole Mobilités.
In 2015, MASTERIS was involved in the general overhaul of the bogies on Citadis 301 trainsets.
Since 2018, the company has also been monitoring the APS batteries on Citadis 302s via the MasterSuite tool.

With this contract, MASTERIS reaffirms its expertise and commitment to providing solutions tailored to the needs of transport operators, guaranteeing the durability of Orléans' rolling stock.
